STORM CHARACTERISTICS
As of 1100 EDT, 30 August 2017, Tropical Storm Harvey is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Port Arthur, Texas. Maximum sustained wind speed is 45 miles per hour (mph) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is forecasted as the center of the storm moves further inland.
