Lecturer in Environmental Studies at Wellesly College

The person in this position will be expected to teach interdisciplinary courses at all levels of the ES curriculum, with a primary – but not exclusive – focus on environmental science. Interdisciplinary training in environmental studies, a background in physical or chemical systems science, and experience teaching at a liberal arts college are valued. The person hired will participate in the governance of the vibrant Environmental Studies program.

Applications should include a cover letter addressed to Professor Elizabeth R. DeSombre, a curriculum vitae, a one-page teaching statement, teaching evaluations or other evidence of teaching effectiveness, graduate school transcript (an unofficial copy is fine), and three letters of reference. PhD required by time of employment.  Materials should be submitted through the online application system at https://career.wellesley.edu.  Review of applications will begin on December 29th, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
