Donald Watson, FAIA, is an architect and author. An expert and consultant in planning, architecture, and environmental design, Mr. Watson has worked on leading sustainable projects around the world. He is a founding member of Trumbull CT Conservation Commission; FEMA Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Building Technology and Community Design; Academic Advisor New York Rising; and Consultant for Hudson River Estuary Program Living Shorelines. Recognitions of his work include 2014 Solar Pioneer Award (American Solar Energy Society); 2012 Connecticut Citizen Conservationist of the Year Award; 2008 Leadership Award U.S. Green Building Council; and 2002 Distinguished Professor Award Assoc. of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
