The mission of NHMA is to elevate the value of of hazard mitigation to catalyze societal change so that natural hazards do not cause disasters bringing suffering to people, taxpayers, property and the environment. We promote education, policies and activities that mitigate current and future losses, costs and pain unnecessarily caused by unwise development practices without regard to natural hazards. To continue doing this we greatly appreciate your donations and support.
